Susan Cain: The Power of Introverts

A personal admission

I should warn those that will meet me in the future, by chance, or planned circumstances. I am painfully, and perhaps fatally introverted. Its not a “I’m shy and quiet” kind of thing. I dislike social environments, not because I think people are uninteresting, but because I dislike the perceived (and most likely self-invented) responsibilities of large scale social interaction. People ARE interesting, but LOTS of people are demanding, and ridiculously hard to learn about on an intimate and revealing level. Now you know a little about me, and also know why I identify with this lady and her call to action.
